Every Local Authority will charge a set fee for Planning Permission but Building Regulation Applications well is variable. These fees are levied by the council at the time of lodgement of the applications and as such these costs are inescapable.
In short, the Planning Application is a fixed fee based upon the type of work you will be undertaking. The Building Warrant Fee is based upon the total value of the building works. |
